Winter’s End – 2023

Sketchbook photos from my walks and “around the way” shot on Ilford Delta 400 black and white film.

Home Town Grocery. I used to walk here as a little boy.

The house where my grandparents once lived.

The bowling alley where I spent a lot of time around 1984.

KSL said the Weinermobile was in town so made a quick dash to Kaysville in a snowstorm to get a flick.

Little Bear, University of Utah Union Bldg.

An empty Union Building on a Sunday.

When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls!

Sean and baby Robin.

This is Pol from the dog park near Spring Lane Elementary.

This is an old photo from 1962 of my stepdaughter with her new Yashica rangefinder camera preparing for assignment in The Gambia.

The pool at Crestwood Park, probably built around the same time as the above Yashica rangefinder camera.

All photos in this post were taken using the Pentax K1000 on Ilford Delta 400 film except where noted. Scanning provided by Essential Photo Supply.  Click on any image for a closer look.
