A Cryptozoologic Mystery

This abominable bicycle was found in a SLC park near my home where homeless people often sleep. It has been there for five days unlocked and untouched. Judging from the great care taken to fur up this bike for the upcoming winter, I assume it has a loving owner. Perhaps the owner was high on LSD and wandered off into the hills searching for the elusive Yeti and forgot about the bike. Perhaps not. I decided to bring this bike home and do all I can to find it’s loving owner. It sat out in the rain. The chain is rusted. If anyone knows the owner of this bike please let me know. My only hope is that it can be pleasantly reunited with it’s master.

This is Amelia’s Peugeot (left). It’s a bit rickety at the moment. Hopefully with a little spit and polish, some tlc, and even some new parts from the retrodorks at RivenDale, we can transform it into the beauty it was meant to be. Possibly even rivaling that of Sean Cooper’s 1980 Puch Pathfinder. (right)

Stunned in disbelief

I’m still in a stupor from yesterdays events. I don’t quite know what to think. First is the shake-up at the TDF and then there was wild crazy pandemonium at Seattle Critical Mass as gorilla undercover cops beat down two Mass riders. The scene happened right behind me as we crested a small hill and turned left.
“Has the whole world gone crazy? Am I the only one around here who gives a shit about the rules? Mark it zero!”

On the other hand it was good to see Thor win the prologue. Got to hand it to the Vikings. They knew the importance of stretching before and attack!
