My first introduction to Mario Biondi was the modern jazz classic “This Is What You Are” which was released under the moniker of Was-A-Bee back in the Spring of 2006. There is probably not a day that goes by without my hearing this song in my head. It’s 60s styled jazz with a subtle Latin undertone reflected both in percussion and horns. It’s modern sensibility is in perfect tone with its classic jazz style.

This is absolutely wonderful. Two of my favorite artists from the 80′s together in an unusual, yet uplifting performance of Caribbean Queen at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Montego Bay, including reggae legend Maxi Priest, John Oats and the late T-Bone Wolk.

Aiden got two new bikes this summer, a road bike and a mountain bike. From road rides to mountain biking and cyclocross she did her first race last week and was the jr girls winner. Go Aiden!
